Played on Australia’s best grass courts in Albury-Wodonga, the Margaret Court Cup is a two time tournament of the year. Attracting players from up to thirteen countries as well as players from around Australia, the Margaret Court Cup was the brain child of MCTA Coach Phil Shanahan and ITF Development Officer and good friend Dan O’Connell.
The Margaret Court Cup starts with the Margaret Court Cup Teams Event which is held the day before the tournament officially starts. This gives players the opportunity to compete on grass before the tournament commences. Teams consist of 7 players with a minimum of 2 girls per team.
